Canine Wellness Program | Feline Wellness Program
We have a COMPREHENSIVE WELLNESS PROGRAM that allows you to provide the necessary preventative health care for your pet at the most affordable cost possible. It is an investment in love, companionship, security, loyalty, and devotion for both you and your new family member.
There are NO enrollment fees or extra charges. All we ask is that you allow Summit Pet Hospital to provide the recommended comprehensive health care outlined in this program.
Wellness Program visits provide for all stages of your pet's life
Just as with children, new pets require several preventative care visits during the first year of life, as well as semiannual visits thereafter.
- Weighing the pet
- Obtaining the pet's medical history
- Wellness physical exam
- Nutritional and behavioral counseling as needed
- Internal parasite testing and deworming as needed
- External parasite control recommendations
The Responsible Pet Owner
A few families can have all the money, cars, clothes, etc., that they need (and want) and life is not difficult for them. Other families have less of these things have a hard time getting along. Families in both groups can provide loving homes for pets. We particularly want to help those who must live within a limited budget, yet want to be responsible pet owners.
- Carefully consider your ability to properly care for the pet you select. This includes both time and financial resources.
- Feed the best quality pet food you can afford. Proper nutrition is a major building block of preventative health care.
- Ask our advice ANYTIME before you make a major decision for your pet.
- Follow our recommended wellness care program. If you are unable to pay the full amount of each visit at the time of services are to be rendered, please tell the receptionist upon entering so that we can work out a plan so your pet can still be provided with the best veterinary care possible.
- Be honest with us when you have financial difficulty. We will work with you the best we can. We recommend the best options for your pet's medical care.
- Be a responsible pet owner in your community. Respect the rights of your neighbors and landlord. Spay/neuter your pet at the appropriate age to help stop the pet overpopulation problem.
- We do everything possible to maintain affordable fees.
The Wellness Program allows you to provide the necessary preventative health care for your pet at the most affordable cost possible.
